Just want to close my eyes, want to sleep forever. Let me escape this pain, and all the misery surrounding me. Let all the doubt and self recriminations melt, like the ice in late Spring. I want to let the dark embrace me, envelop me, let it hold me like a lover, close to the heart. Either swallow me up, or avenge me. Protect me from the outside, protect me from myself. Take me away from here, somewhere far away, where I can be free, or let me sleep forever.
